About Course
MRI physics is usually taught as a wall of equations and then abandoned the moment you sit at a console. This course does the opposite. It starts from what actually happens to hydrogen in the bore, and builds — lesson by lesson — to the parameters you change on a real protocol and the images that come back.
You will learn why TR and TE control contrast, what spin echo refocuses that gradient echo cannot, how a slice is chosen, what k-space really holds, and where SNR goes when you speed a scan up. Every lesson ends at the console, with the decision the physics was for.
Free in full. No prior physics assumed.
Learning time: 2 h 25 min (2.4 CPD/CPE hours). This is self-directed CPD. High Yield Imaging is not an accredited CE provider, so these hours are not ARRT Category A/A+ credits and are not pre-approved by any registration body. Most regulators accept relevant self-directed learning that you record with evidence — including MRTB (New Zealand), the Medical Radiation Practice Board / Ahpra (Australia), HCPC (UK), CORU (Ireland) and CAMRT (Canada). Your completion certificate states the learning time; keep it with a short reflection as your CPD evidence, and check your regulator’s current CPD policy for what counts.
